after Gary Neville asked Becks about a night out with the 2022 World Cup-winning Argentina captain.

since the 36-year-old Argentine superstar joined Inter Miami in a blockbuster deal last summer.
Beckham’s help in getting Messi used to his surroundings has paid off and M10 has made an impressive start with 11 goals in his first 12 appearances for Inter Miami.
Now, Manchester United legend David Beckham has commented on photos of him with Lionel Messi in the Florida city. Shortly after Messi scored on his Inter Miami debut against Cruz Azul, Beckham and Messi enjoyed dinner together. The dinner was also attended by members of Becks and Messi’s family.
In July, David Beckham’s wife Victoria Beckham shared photos of football legends at Gekko steakhouse in Miami. The outing included Beckham and former Barcelona trio Inter Miami players Lionel Messi, Jordi Alba and Sergio Busquets, along with their families. Also at the party was Inter Miami co-owner Jorge Mas.
Now, when Beckham sat down with a panel of experts including Gary Neville, Jill Scott, Jamie Carragher and Roy Keane for the show “Stick to Football”, Becks did not hesitate to share his excitement about Messi.
Neville asked Beckham: “What is Lionel Messi like? I’ve seen pictures of you hanging out with Messi. I was thinking simple things like, does Messi have a glass of wine, does he have a beer or something? Does Messi do normal things?
To a burst of laughter from those present, Roy Keane then interjected with a reply: “Lionel Messi is a great guy, isn’t he? What a great guy,” before Jamie Carragher joked: “He’s the first one in and the last one out.”
Despite some gentle teasing from those present, Beckham was happy to give an insight into his experience of Messi’s character. David Beckham replied: “To be fair, Lionel Messi is very humble. He does normal things that we just think ‘that’s how it is’.
Especially in Miami, Lionel Messi wasn’t left alone, he was chased everywhere, he was followed everywhere. There were thousands of people every day at the training ground to watch Lionel get in the car and leave and drive down the road. But since arriving in Miami, Lionel Messi has driven himself to the supermarket, done his shopping and gone home. People were shocked by that, but that’s Lionel Messi.” Former England captain David Beckham added: “Lionel Messi is humble, he works hard, he has a great family, his wife is amazing, his kids are amazing. Messi is just a normal guy with unbelievable talent.”
