The 32 year-old star wore a dramatic gladiator-style costume followed by a daring two-piece covered in chainmail during a live performance in Glasgow on Friday.

The choice of clothing seems to hark back to the days where such attire was commonplace amongst brave men in battle.

But, fortunately, Beyonce has few battles on her hands – the star is enjoying a stratospheric peak of her career as she begins the European leg of her latest world tour.

The 32-year-old singer took to the stage for a second night at the SSE Hydro in Glasgow, Scotland, where she wowed fans.

Last night’s choice of attire is just the latest in a series of impressive – and flesh-baring – dresses.

On Thursday she dressed in a blue and green playsuit, which not only highlighted her long, toned legs, but the plunging neckline displayed a great deal of her cleavage. 

She left her long blonde hair loose around her shoulders as she threw herself into her energetic set.
