Stephen Curry’s individual performance against the Atlanta Hawks on February 4 deserves to be called a masterpiece.

Missing exactly 2 points to equalize the career-high milestone, Curry scored 60 points, reached 22-38 FGs and hit 10 3-pointers. 

This set of stats comes with 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 1 block in 41 minutes of play.

Particularly in the fourth quarter, when the two teams struggled, Stephen alone scored 20 points to keep the Golden State Warriors in the game. 

But this effort still could not help Curry personally as well as the Warriors team enjoy the joy of victory.

Golden State opened the extra period by laying the foundation for the Atlanta Hawks’ 12-0 run, a “show” opened by the hottest name in the transfer market Dejounte Murray.

Previously, at the end of the fourth quarter, Murray scored the equalizer for the Hawks and sent the match into extra time.

The most blameworthy today on the Warriors’ side was probably Klay Thompson, who only had 10 points, 4-19 FG, 2-13 3PT in 36 minutes of play. 

Andrew Wiggins was injured at the end of the second half and had to finish the game with only 2 points (1-6 FG) in 19 minutes.

On the Atlanta Hawks side, Dejounte Murray played the hero with a score that sent the game into overtime and an explosive OT. 

He had 19 points the whole game, along with 7 assists, 5 rebounds and 1 steal.

But before the opportunity to shine came to Murray, Trae Young was Atlanta’s most explosive player with 35 points, 6 assists and 7 successful 3-pointers (7-11 3PT).

Jalen Johnson (21 points, 13 rebounds) and Clint Capela (17 points, 15 rebounds) contributed two more double-doubles to the Hawks’ glorious victory.

This is the third loss in the last five matches for the Golden State Warriors, causing them to continue to sink deep in the Western rankings. 

Stephen Curry and his teammates are currently ranked 12th with a record of 21-25, below both the Houston Rockets (23-25) and Utah Jazz (24-26).

Meanwhile, the Atlanta Hawks, with a record of 22-27, are firmly in 10th place in the East thanks to 4 consecutive victories. 

However, in front of Trae Young and his teammates will be real challenges when they meet the Boston Celtics and Philadelphia 76ers respectively.
