Myleene Klass moves her Loose Women co-hosts to “tears” as she bravely confesses that she nearly h.a.r.m.e.d her own children while burglars broke into her home: “I feel like I don’t deserve to be their mother…”

Loose Women Star’s ‘Terrifying’ Ordeal as Burglars Target Home While She Was Alone with Baby

Television presenter and Loose Women star Myleene Klass has opened up about a harrowing experience when her home was targeted by burglars

while she was alone with her baby. The 46-year-old shared the chilling details on the latest episode of the ITV daytime show,

leaving her fellow panelists and viewers shocked by the terrifying ordeal.

Myleene, a mother and media personality,

was discussing the recent burglary at the home of actress Michelle Keegan and her husband Mark Wright when she revealed that she had once faced a similar situation—

one that left her feeling vulnerable but also unexpectedly fierce in her response.

A Chilling Encounter

During the conversation with her Loose Women co-stars Kaye Adams, Nadia Sawalha, and Jane Moore, Myleene described the unsettling moment she realized that intruders were trying to break into her home.

“I was sitting on the phone and I just saw a shadow go past. I didn’t even think about it at first—I assumed it was just a cat triggering the security lights,” she explained.

However, upon closer inspection, she noticed a van parked nearby and quickly realized that the situation was far more serious than she had initially thought.

“I looked into the security camera and there was a van, so I worked out that there were three people trying to get into the house. I was on my own. I was a new mum—it was utterly terrifying.”

Feeling completely vulnerable, Myleene found herself in an unthinkable position—trapped in her own home with her baby, while unknown intruders attempted to gain entry.

Fighting Back Against the Intruders

Despite the initial shock and fear, Myleene quickly shifted into protective mode. Instead of freezing in terror, she decided to act fast and aggressively to scare the burglars away.

“I thought that I would be really fearful. But I went mad! They must have thought, ‘Whose house have we tried to break into?!’”

The star explained that she did everything in her power to make the burglars realize they had picked the wrong target.

“I raised all kinds of hell,” she said, recalling how she managed to frighten the men off her property before they could break in.

Fortunately, a friend who was on the phone with Myleene at the time immediately called the police, ensuring that law enforcement was aware of the attempted burglary.

Her quick thinking, combined with her unexpectedly fierce reaction, likely prevented what could have been a terrifying home invasion.

Mark Wright and Michelle Keegan’s Break-In

Myleene’s story came up during a discussion about another recent high-profile burglary—this time involving television personalities Mark Wright and Michelle Keegan.

The celebrity couple, who have been building their “dream home” in Essex, were the victims of a home invasion earlier this week.

According to reports, four individuals forced their way into the property at around 6:20 PM on Tuesday, ransacking the house before fleeing the scene.

Mark, 38, and Michelle, 37, who are currently expecting their first child, immediately contacted the Essex Police, who are now investigating the case.

The authorities confirmed that they are pursuing multiple leads in an attempt to track down the culprits.

A police statement released on Thursday (February 21) read:

“We are exploring a number of lines of inquiry including but not limited to forensic opportunities, CCTV, and witness statements. Anyone with information should contact us as soon as possible.”

The break-in has sparked discussions about the dangers of oversharing online, as Mark and Michelle often post updates about their home on social media, where they have a combined following of over 664,000.

Some security experts warn that sharing detailed insights into home renovations, layouts, and expensive possessions can make high-profile figures more susceptible to targeted burglaries.

The Emotional Toll of Burglary

Both Myleene Klass and the Wright-Keegan household’s experiences highlight just how emotionally distressing and violating burglary can be. The thought of strangers invading a private space—especially when loved ones, children, or personal belongings are at risk—is enough to leave lasting emotional scars.

For Myleene, her maternal instincts kicked in, allowing her to stand her ground and protect her baby in the heat of the moment. However, not everyone facing such situations may have the same outcome.

“I can’t even describe how terrifying it is to feel like someone is trying to break in when you’re alone with your child,” she reflected.

With burglaries on the rise and many high-profile cases making headlines, home security is becoming an increasingly important topic—both for celebrities and everyday homeowners alike.

Staying Safe: Tips for Home Security

While high-profile individuals like Mark Wright and Michelle Keegan may be at greater risk due to their public presence, anyone can take extra precautions to enhance home security and reduce the likelihood of a break-in.

Some expert recommendations include:

Install High-Quality CCTV and Alarms – Visible security cameras and alarm systems can deter criminals from targeting a home.

Use Smart Lighting – Motion-activated lights can startle intruders and make them more hesitant to continue their actions.

Limit Social Media Sharing – Avoid posting real-time updates about vacations, new purchases, or home renovations to reduce the chances of being targeted by burglars.

Strengthen Doors and Windows – Ensure that entry points have reinforced locks and security measures to make it harder for intruders to break in.

Have a Safety Plan – If an attempted burglary occurs, having a pre-planned response (such as immediately calling the police or activating a panic alarm) can help ensure everyone’s safety.

Final Thoughts

Myleene Klass’s frightening encounter serves as a reminder of how vulnerable anyone can feel when faced with an unexpected home intrusion. Her ability to act quickly and decisively prevented a potentially dangerous situation from escalating further.

Meanwhile, the burglary at Mark Wright and Michelle Keegan’s home has raised serious concerns about security and how social media presence can inadvertently put individuals at risk.

As these cases continue to make headlines, one thing remains clear: home security and personal safety should always be a priority—whether you’re a celebrity or not.
