Emma Watson has been in many acclaimed movies. 

Apart from being an actress Watson also has been a model and an activist- mostly working on women’s rights.

Starting from acting in plays, Watson quickly enjoyed stardom and global fame after playing Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter franchise. 

Later, she appeared in the 2011 biographical film, My Week with Marilyn, and critically acclaimed Perks of Being a Wallflower in 2012. 

She has also worked with prominent Hollywood filmmakers including, Sofia Coppola and Darren Aronofsky.

Recently, Emma Watson revealed that she had been exposed to alcohol from an early age. 

She recalls her relationship with her father, “My dad would give me wine and water for lunch since I was a kid,” the actor said.

Watson told Financial Times’ How to Spend It magazine that she was confused over the teenager’s fascination towards alcohol. She was already familiar with the taste of alcohol and got over the young age fascination towards it. Also, she was befuddled over their tag ‘forbidden fruit’ to the drink for she never had to struggle to achieve a sip of it.

“I was quite surprised when other kids got really excited about the idea of getting their hands on alcohol,” she explained. “So I was pretty confused as a teenager and everyone thought alcohol was a forbidden fruit,” the actor added. 

Watson took a break from social media in December 2022 to improve her mental health. Her remarks on alcohol shortly came after her grand return to the socials along with updates on her personal life. The Harry Potter star revealed a lot of detail of her life that her fans missed when she was absent. On social, she said that she’d step away from life to learn surfing. Later she adopted a dog and ripped off a fingernail.

Coming back to the socials, Watson wrote: “This is 33. Holy moly. Before 29 I hadn’t even heard of a Saturn Return as a concept.”

“Let’s just say that now I am well acquainted. I stepped away from my life – I learned to surf (badly), I rode some horses (that went better), I did a lot of therapy (YESS therapy!).”

“My brother and I figured out how to make a gin using recycled wine grapes!?” She also adopted a dog named Sofia in Mexico, who seems to be an angel, not a dog.

The 33-year-old also said that she joined the Harry Potter reunion and bid farewell to her grandparents, “We filmed a Harry Potter reunion. I said goodbye to my Grandma and Grandpa. I retraced my steps.” Later, she started a women’s environmental investment fund.

Watson also played Pickleball with former professional boxer, Sugar Ray Leonard, “I played Pickleball with @sugarrayleonard and I even played golf and then tried to make all of my girlfriends learn too.” 

Watson also had cuts on the thumbnails while she was trying to cook for herself. And then, she “was only able to do things one-handed for months.” 

Speaking of emotions she said, “I felt really sad and really pissed off about a lot of things. I learned more about love and being a woman.” 

“It took me three years but I have finally figured out a daily practice and can actually keep it for more than a few days in a row. I burned some things down. I eat green things now!”

There is no report of Watson appearing in any upcoming movies or TV shows officially at the moment. However, it seems the actors’ break is over, and likely to be on screen soon.
