when traveling, including certain items that must be brought along. First is a pair of headphones to “avoid being disturbed by outsiders”.
In addition, another essential item that the English football star always tries to put in his suitcase is candles.
“I like to bring candles, if allowed, you know, not many hotels allow candles in the room. Candles make me feel like I’m at home.
We always light candles when we gather, so I want to smell the same scent, even when I’m away from home”, he explained.
Bringing candles when traveling is not uncommon. Many people share the same thought as Becks, wanting to be relaxed by scents on vacation like when relaxing in the bathtub or reading a book. Also at this event, Beckham revealed that he always arranges “very precisely” the things to bring in his luggage, but this is not something his wife usually does. “Victoria is a little upset because I packed three days before we left. Meanwhile, my wife is still struggling to find and pack even though we’re leaving tomorrow,” he said.
The 49-year-old football legend added that his wife always laughs when he chooses outfits that match the destination. “If we’re going to Italy, I’ll dress in an Italian style. If we’re going to Spain, I’ll dress in a Spanish style. I’m trying different things because I think there’s a lot of inspiration from traveling,” he said.
David also said that when he travels with his family, he likes to take pictures of his children. The couple celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary in July.
