Former football star David Beckham said he was influenced by his wife’s fashion style, often choosing clothes based on Victoria’s ideas.
According to People, David Beckham paid tribute to his wife – fashion designer Victoria Beckham – at an event for headphone brand Bowers & Wilkins in New York,
USA on August 27. In his speech as a brand ambassador, Beckham said his wife inspired him to try many new looks.
“After 27 years together, she always gives me the confidence to want to look better and better,” he said.
According to David Beckham, Victoria is always serious about choosing clothes.
Even when changing clothes, he looks at his wife’s reaction to know whether to wear the outfit he is choosing or not.
In a recent Instagram post, he joked that Victoria thought his gym shirt was too bright, so he had to take it off.
When asked if his fashion sense influenced Victoria, the father of four replied: “I would like to say that I influenced my wife, but I’m sure I’d be wrong. In fact, she’s always been beautiful. That’s both a good thing and a problem. She’s always been great, so I don’t have to do much.”
David Beckham was born in 1975 and played for clubs such as Manchester United, Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain. Beckham was the captain of the England national team from 2000-2006.
