She had tried to make their marriage work, for the sake of their children and their fans. She had put on a brave face and a dazzling smile, even when she felt broken inside.

But there was a limit to how much she could endure, and Jay Z had crossed it.

She hoped that he would admit his fault, ask for forgiveness, promise to get help. She hoped that he would love her, love their daughter, love their family.
