Former television presenter Melanie Sykes has publicly criticized the TV industry and her former co-host, Gino D’Acampo,

During a discussion on her YouTube channel, Melanie did not hold back, stating:

“Celebrity Juice was an abomination. The industry creates monsters.”

She went on to recall a past conversation with D’Acampo, revealing that he once bragged about his direct access to industry executives.

“I remember once when Gino told me he could go up to the powers that be, knock on the door, and go in; he didn’t need a meeting. He was quite pleased with himself that he could do that.”

Mr. D’Acampo is horrified to be accused of ‘power play’ and an ‘aggressive act’. He emphatically and unequivocally denies these allegations.”

“Years ago, there were some kind of rumblings about the presenter that everybody’s talking about at the moment. He went to some kind of etiquette media training because he’s Italian and the translation, he’s not quite getting it… It’s an insult to Italians. A stupid way of dealing with it. A very narrow-minded, dumb**s way of responding to bad behavior from a human being in the workspace.”
