Stacey Solomon’s much-anticipated family ski trip to Switzerland took an unexpected detour after a travel blunder left them spending Valentine’s Day in Paris instead.

However, rather than letting the mishap dampen their spirits, she and her family turned it into an opportunity for an impromptu Parisian adventure.

A Surprise Night in the City of Love

Taking to Instagram, Stacey shared an update with her followers, 

explaining that after missing their train to Switzerland, she, her husband Joe Swash, and their children found themselves in the French capital. 

Instead of being frustrated, the family embraced the change of plans and made the most of their unexpected stopover.

In one of the snapshots she posted, Stacey and Joe were seen sharing a kiss in front of the dazzling Eiffel Tower. Alongside the romantic photo, she wrote, “Happy Valentine’s Day from the very unexpected Eiffel Tower! We missed our train, so instead, we’re spending the night in Paris before heading to Switzerland tomorrow.”

Despite the last-minute change, Stacey revealed that her children were thrilled with the detour, writing, “The boys thought it was the best mistake ever—they’ve always wanted to see the Eiffel Tower! So we made the most of it. Happy Friday everyone, lots of love from all of us in Paris.”

The family looked to be in great spirits despite the hiccup, beaming in their photos as they explored the iconic city.
