“I want to be happy too” Father “then you have to wait until you’re a grown up”
Johnny “but who will exercise with me when I grow up?
”Father “hopefully when you get married, it will be your wife”
Johnny “but dad, how come our neighbourSally exercises with you”
Wife rushes out of the kitchen, ambulance arrives 10 minutes later.
One morning, little Sarah asked her mother, “Mom, why do adults always drink coffee in the morning?” Her father, who was reading the newspaper nearby, overheard and decided to join the conversation. He replied, “Well, sweetie, coffee helps adults wake up and get ready for the day ahead.” Sarah looked puzzled and said,
“But I want to be awake and ready too!” Her father chuckled and said, “You’ll have to wait until you’re older to start drinking coffee.”Sarah then asked, “Who will have coffee with me when I’m older?” Her father smiled and said, “Maybe your future husband will enjoy coffee with you every morning.” Sarah raised an eyebrow and said, “But Mom doesn’t drink coffee with you, Dad.”
The father and mother shared a knowing glance before bursting into laughter.As they enjoyed their family moment, they heard a knock on the door. To their surprise, their neighbor, Mr. Johnson, stood there with a freshly brewed pot of coffee and two cups. Sarah exclaimed, “Mr. Johnson, are you here to have coffee with us?” Mr. Johnson chuckled and said,
“Well, your dad and I have been enjoying our morning coffee together for years. It’s a tradition now.”The family spent the morning chatting, laughing, and sipping on coffee. Sarah learned that a simple morning routine could bring people together and create lasting memories. As they said their goodbyes,
Mr. Johnson winked at Sarah and said, “Who knows, maybe one day you’ll find someone to share your morning coffee with too.”And just like that, a simple question about coffee turned into a heartwarming moment of connection and friendship.
