Spice Girls: A+
The metallic mini strapless dress and angular bob with slight beehive exude Girl Power, while hinting at a fashion star on the rise. We’re still obsessed with it.
Racing black and blue jacket: C+
Obviously, certain early 2000s styles haven’t aged well. Case in point:
this leather racing jacket paired with checkered low-rise jeans and tinted sunglasses. But on the plus side, how cute is the baby bottle?
Trucker hat: C-
This is another example of time being unkind to Posh. What knocks this down a peg is the trucker hat and oversized hoops. The tonal graphic T-shirt and matching denim aren’t doing her any favors, either.
White corset dress: B+
The 2003 MTV Movie Awards were a fashion minefield, but Posh made it out alive in this corset mermaid dress in angelic white. To be honest, this could be revived by any number of starlets today.
Black strapless dress: A
Bringing a modern sex appeal to evening dressing, this strapless LBD with a bow on the neckline and sparkly embroideries is refreshing. With the matching hat, the result is fabulously dramatic.
Chanel jacket: A-
Early Victoria was as known for her varying hairstyles as her musical talent. This asymmetric blond bob adds an element of edge to the most traditional outfits, like this Chanel aqua and black number.
Birthday: A+
Being carried out of your own 50th birthday bash by David Beckham is most girls’ (and some boys’) dreams. She’s wearing his tuxedo jacket and sunglasses at night: what’s not to love?
Royal wedding: A
Being the designer of your own brand has its perks. This sartorial-looking dress is a minimalist’s dream, embodying the essence of Victoria’s namesake line. The pillbox hat and birdcage veil speak of British heritage. The result is perfect for a royal wedding.
