Romeo Beckham cut a sporty figure as he enjoyed a kick-around with female footballer Lauren Markwith in Florida on Wednesday.

The second eldest Beckham son, 21, who plays the sport for Brentford B team, was seen leaving the pitch with the football-loving brunette as they chatted together. 

Lauren is a former University of Miami soccer star and is also a member of the Guatemalan Senior Women’s National Team.

While the pair appeared close, the two are just friends with Lauren posting snaps with her boyfriend over on her Instagram.  

She is currently on work experience with a sports administration company getting first-hand experience on the birth of Miami’s newest professional squad, 

Inter Miami – owned by Romeo’s dad David. 

She also handles social media for Inter Miami’s affiliate team, Fort Lauderdale CF. 

Spending multiple days a week at practice and at the stadium, she has been helping coordinate and produce sponsorship ads and interviews and recently attended the Paris Olympics. 

Lauren sported a blue sports T-shirt for the kick about which she paired with some navy blue shorts. 

The sportswoman pulled her dark locks back in a pink ribbon as she was seen walking with her Stanley water bottle in one hand. 

Meanwhile Romeo showed off his ever growing collection of tattoos in a black sports vest and light blue shorts. 

He completed the look with some bright blue trainers which he later took off in favour of some Adidas white sliders. 

It is unknown how the pair became friends. MailOnline have contacted Romeo’s representatives for comment.  

Earlier this year Romeo split from his long term girlfriend Mia Regan after five years together. 

They both shared statements online declaring they were now just friends after they first began dating in May 2019. 

The pair initially parted ways in July 2022 after a three-year romance, with Romeo deleting all traces of Mia from his Instagram.

But just four months later, Romeo hinted at their reconciliation with a conveniently-cropped photo where he received a kiss on the cheek from a mystery love interest.

He then finally confirmed that they had rekindled their romance as they were both seen on a night out with their friends to celebrate Mia’s 20th birthday.

However in February this year he shared a photo of him and Mia pulling funny faces at one other during a country walk.

He captioned the snap: ‘Mooch and I have parted ways after 5 years of love. We still have a lot of respect for each other, and still hold a strong friendship and always will.’

Mia also shared a selfie and joked that they had ‘friendzoned each other’ after five years.

She had also reportedly moving out of their shared home after the pair only moved in earlier this year.

The Mirror previously reported that following the shock split Romeo signed up celebrity dating app Raya.

A source said: ‘Romeo is on Raya. His profile is colourful but subtle and his bio says he’s a ‘professional footballer”.

‘His photos are mostly just him on his own and he doesn’t have any with his famous dad David or mum Victoria. He looks gorgeous in them all and it’s doubtful that any girl in their right mind would swipe left on him’.
