David and Victoria Beckham fans have been left in disbelief as their youngest child, Harper Seven celebrates her 13th birthday – meaning that she is now officially in her teenage years.
Proud dad David, 49, who also shares sons Brooklyn, 25, Romeo, 21, and Cruz, 19,
with wife Victoria, 50, has taken to Instagram to share a touching tribute to his not-so-little girl Harper, who turns 13 today.
Alongside an adorable video of Harper from her first few days to now, football legend David penned a tear-jerking tribute to Harper, who he describes as ‘his whole world’.
“Happy 13th birthday to my beautiful little girl. Daddy is so proud of you.
You have grown up to be a kind, generous, and beautiful young lady with the most amazing heart and the most amazing smile that we all love so, so, much.
Always be the beautiful person that you are. Harper Seven, you’re my whole world,” David gushed.
Harper’s mum Victoria also shared the same video on her Instagram page as she called her teenage daughter her ‘best friend’. Alongside the wholesome video, fashionista Victoria penned: “Happy birthday to my best friend. You are sweet and kind and your smile warms our hearts every day. You really are our everything Harper Seven, and we are so proud of the happy, beautiful, and talented young lady you are becoming. We love you so much. Kisses.”
Following the beautiful tributes to Harper, it wasn’t long before fans flocked to the comments to share their disbelief that the youngest Beckham child is now a teenager. One fan commented: “Feels like we’ve all watched her grow up into this beautiful young lady. It’s hard to believe she’s 13. Gorgeous girl.”
Another fan echoed: “I can’t believe Harper Beckham is 13. I’ve never felt so old. What a gorgeous young lady, she is the perfect mix of Victoria and David.” Someone else wrote: “She is just perfection. Hard to believe she’s now 13. The years really do fly by.”
Victoria’s famous pal Eva Longoria also commented on the post, as she penned: “Happy birthday beautiful Harper. We love you so much.” Yolanda Hadid and Gemma Collins also both commented: “Happy birthday Harper.”
Earlier this month, it was revealed that David was feeling more protective than ever in the lead-up to Harper’s 13th birthday. The proud dad-of-four has previously admitted that he’s much more protective over daughter Harper-Seven, who came into his and Victoria’s life back in 2011 – and changed their views on parenting for good.
Ahead of Harper’s milestone 13th birthday, both David and Victoria were reportedly feeling nostalgic and nervous over what’s to come as their little girl enters her teenage years. Naturally, her dad David was feeling nervous about his Harper starting to date as she enters into her teens, and the football legend is reportedly taking it badly that she is growing up so fast.
“David and Harper have such a special bond. He is naturally a protective dad, so obviously, he’s nervous of anyone hurting his little girl. She’s still so young, so a lot of this is hypothetical and he knows any dating will be purely innocent. But he also knows it’s going to get harder for him the older she gets,” a source told Heat magazine.
Proud dad David is reportedly feeling more sentimental than ever, especially given the fact that Harper appears to be following in her famous mum’s footsteps thanks to her love of all things fashion and beauty related. “Over the past few months, Harper has really started changing,” the insider added.
“She’s getting dressed up a lot more, using make-up, having her hair done, going out with friends, and is always chatting about fashion and beauty with her mum. In some ways, David yearns for those days when she was still little.”
