In a shocking defeat, the Golden State Warriors fell massively short against the Boston Celtics in tonight’s match-up.

Led by Jayson Tatum, the Celtics emerged victorious with a score of 140-88. 

During the post-game interview, Warriors superstar Stephen Curry offered nothing but praise for Tatum and the Celtics.

When asked about the development of Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum as offensive leaders, Stephen Curry said, “The road up until the ’22 finals. 

It obviously got a in a couple of Eastern Conference they were younger you know fell short a couple of times 

And then obviously we got them in that finals they stay motivated hungry and you always gotta take those moment in and I understand you have to get better and they’ve done that…

Referring to their last championship showdown with the Celtics, where the Celtics lost due to, among other factors, the inexperience of their young players.

Curry finished his interview by stating, “I don’t know what they talked about in the locker room, we’ve played them what 4 times 

So I’m sure that narrative has gotten old but they’re the best team in the league right now and they play like it.” 

Steph gave props where props are due, acknowledging the current form of the Celtics and their front-runner Jayson Tatum.

Despite leading the league-leading team, Jayson Tatum doesn’t rank at the top of the MVP race. According to ESPN, he sits at number 5 in the “favorites” list. 

However, his performance and the praise he received from the “greatest shooter of all time,” Stephen Curry, speak volumes about his smashing performance in the league.

Even big man Draymond Green of the Warriors, days before their showdown, stated, “The Celtics are seven and a half games ahead of the no.2 seed in the Eastern Conference.

It seems that sometimes a team appears to be winning, and a certain player stands out as the best performer. 

However, in this case, the goalpost has shifted dramatically, indicating a significant change in expectations, particularly for JT.
