And they marked their milestone anniversary by slipping back into their now iconic wedding outfits for a fun Instagram snap sat on their infamous gold thrones.

While footage of the couple’s first dance at their wedding has been unearthed, showing them in their matching purple outfits at their reception.

The clip was shown for the first time in their hit Netflix documentary last year, which charted their romance, careers and lives together.

The video sees the guests all hitting the dance floor after the opulent nuptials, before Victoria and David take to the floor to dance to Frank Sinatra’s It Had To Be You.

The Spice Girl can be seen looking stunning in her purple Antonio Berardi gown with a floral ruffled neckline, while David beams in his matching suit.

The lovebirds sway to music, while sweetly whispering into each other ears and making each other laugh, with Victoria flashing a rare smile.

And in a voiceover, David can be heard saying: ‘It had been such an emotional and draining season. I wouldn’t got through that moment if I hadn’t been at a club like Manchester United. But she was the biggest reason I got through that time.’

Posh and Becks previously laughed at their choice to go purple in the documentary series. 

After watching a string of throwback clips from the big day, David mocked his decision to make their guests wear black and white, while he and Victoria donned the garish purple ensembles.

As his former teammate Gary Neville described the wedding as ‘a spectacle’, David mused: ‘I try to think back to when I decided to wear a purple suit and I don’t know when that happened…

‘I think I just took Victoria’s lead on it but what were we thinking?!’

Having no regrets on her end, Victoria quipped: ‘It was fun! We weren’t worried about what people were going to say.

‘I mean Christ, how lovely to be that way when you just don’t really care you just want to express yourselves.

She did confess ‘I don’t know where the thrones came from’, while referring to the gold chairs she and David posed on.

Victoria wore a more reserved champagne Vera Wang gown for the ceremony, while the groom opted for a white suit.

During a 2021 appearance on Jimmy Fallon she said of the outfit change: ‘It just seemed like a really good idea at the time, you know? It really did. I think it was a naiveté then, we didn’t know about fashion.

Before adding: ‘We were just having fun with it, which, to be honest with you, is kind of the way it should be.’

The couple, who share sons Brooklyn, 25, Romeo, 21, Cruz, 19, and daughter Harper, 12, both took to their Instagrams on Thursday to reminisce.

They shared a slew of snaps and videos of them dressing up in their wedding looks and posing in their £12million Cotswolds home.

Victoria showed a hilarious video of David breathing in to squeeze into his trousers as he excitedly said: ‘I’m in, I’m in!’ before the sound of material ripping can be heard as he continues to put on the rest of the suit.

David later shared footage of Victoria trying on her dress, with daughter Harper and close friend Ken Paves’ help.

Looking for his wife in their London home, David calls for ‘Tor’ only for her to lie and say she’s working out in their gym.

Referencing his now iconic Netflix documentary line, David replies ‘tell the truth, what are you doing?’ before coming round the corner to see Victoria trying to get into her wedding dress.

‘Mum the zip’s broken!’ Harper tells her as Victoria giggles at her husband.

The couple’s youngest son Cruz, 19, also shared a snap of himself in his dad’s suit alongside a winking emoji as he teased: ‘The suit fits me.’ 

David also took to Instagram to share baby Brooklyn’s adorable outfits laid out ready for him as well as the couple.   

And they also gave fans a behind-the-scenes look at their original big day, and lifted the lid on some cheeky hidden details. 

Victoria shared pictures from their nuptials, including a snap of her and David trying out their thrones ahead of the wedding.

While in another hilarious photo, she showed the pair’s wedding cake – which had naked models of her and David made out of fondant as the topper.
