Beckham celebrated his big day with a star-studded party in Marrakech, Morocco.
His wife Victoria used Twitter to hint at her husband’s birthday plans, posting a picture of a dress and even giving the event its own hashtag — DB40.
She later posted a picture of the couple standing by an aeroplane, and then another confirming they had arrived in Morocco.
“So excited to be spending this special day with David and the kids in Marrakech! Welcome to Instagram DavidBeckham! x vb DB40,” Victoria captioned a snap of her and Beckham.
Among the friends believed to be joining Beckham for the big day were football agent Dave Gardner and his girlfriend, Liv Tyler, chef Gordon Ramsay and former Spice Girls Emma Bunton and Mel C. The couple’s four children Brooklyn, 16, Romeo, 12, Cruz, 10 and Harper, three, were also in Morocco, with Brooklyn sharing a snap of himself cuddled up to actress Eva Longoria on the night.
