During the filming of a biblical blockbuster, a passionate scene resulted in Emma Watson experiencing an injury.

Emma Watson Hurt Herself During An Intimate Scene

The publication Daily Star reported on the incident where Emma Watson found herself with bleeding lips after multiple takes of a steamy scene with her co-star Douglas Booth. 

In a 2014 appearance on the TV show Lorraine, Emma revealed, “We had this one scene where we had to run at each other and fit into this perfect passionate kiss.”

“We were fine for the first four and five takes but by the sixth, we were just nutting each other. My lip was bleeding, I think I hurt Doug’s nose, we were exhausted. It was just not pretty at all.”

Sharing the screen with Russell Crowe, Anthony Hopkins, and Jennifer Connelly, Emma Watson was part of the star-studded cast in the 2014 movie Noah. This American epic biblical drama was skillfully directed by Darren Aronofsky, who collaborated with Ari Handel in penning the screenplay.

Emma Watson Wanted To Leave Her Most Famous Role

Reports by Digital Spy revealed that Emma Watson faced uncertainty about continuing with further installments of the Harry Potter franchise after Order of the Phoenix. Overwhelmed by her newfound fame, the young star admitted feeling fearful. Director David Yates recounted that during her teenage years, Emma considered stepping back from the series. In an interview, the actress candidly shared her emotions.

“I can see that. At times, I was lonely. I think I was scared. I don’t know if you ever felt like it got to a tipping point when you were like… ‘This is kind of forever now’.”

Nonetheless, despite her initial doubts, Emma Watson chose to overcome her hesitations and proceeded to participate in the subsequent installments of the Harry Potter franchise. Alongside Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint, Emma Watson dedicated over a decade of her life to the Harry Potter franchise, leaving a lasting impression on the series. The collective box office earnings of the films amounted to an astounding $7.7 billion worldwide.
