British actress and activist Emma Watson ventures into business and presents her gin brand founded with her brother.
Whether you remember Emma Watson for her role in the “Harry Potter” saga or for her admirable work as an activist, the truth is that the actress is always looking for new projects.
This time, together with her younger brother, the 33-year-old artist has decided to venture into her family’s business, launching her own gin brand called Renais.
Emma Watson launches her own brand of gin responsible for the planet.
“With a heart full of warmth and nostalgia, I am delighted to present Renais Gin, an ode to the sun-drenched vineyards of Chablis
Where my family has been making wine for the past 30 years. Renais Gin is our love letter to Chablis; “a carbon neutral product, carefully made from recycled wine grapes ,” the actress wrote on her Instagram account.
What is known about this new brand co-founded by Emma Watson is that it is a luxury family product, made with recycled grapes.
The name Renais means rebirth, referring to sustainability through the use of recovered grape skins. “Emma was very interested in her being sustainable ,” explains Alex, the brother of the famous actress. Other details revealed by the brother duo explain how the gin is made with stills that work with solar energy and is presented in biodegradable mushroom-shaped containers. Likewise, the remaining carbon emissions are offset through wind farm initiatives in India.
“For me, Renais is a family project: the Chablis region not only evokes very special memories from my childhood, but I loved having the opportunity to create something with my brother Alex,” highlights Emma . “I am especially proud of recycling grapes from vineyards, including my father’s, to reduce waste and create something new.”

The beloved Hermione from “Harry Potter” took advantage of the Father’s Day festivities to share her most recent project with her digital community. In the two photographs that the British activist shared we could see that she was wearing exclusive pieces from the Spanish fashion house, Loewe.
“We took the gin, the dog and Loewe clothes on vacation to do a first Renais tasting with our loved ones. We loved sharing it with everyone. Please get in touch if you would like to distribute to us.
