Sources close to Brad Pitt feel as though Jolie is using this ‘tactic’ to allegedly gain leverage in their ongoing battles.
Brad Pitt feared Angelina Jolie would turn their kids against him before his son, Pax’s hate post was leaked last week.
Given the nature of the post, it appears that his worst fears may be coming true.
Last week, Pax Jolie-Pitt’s Instagram post from 2020 was leaked to the media. In it, there were claims of Pitt being a “terrible and despicable person.”
While the source of the leak has yet to be named, reports are that Jolie is behind the private Father’s Day post being sent to news outlets in order to turn Pitt’s children against him.
A tactic that is being used to allegedly gain leverage in the ongoing battle over the winery that Pitt and Jolie own.
“There is a feeling among their friends that the post is a perfect example of parental alienation – I mean this is a textbook demonstration of parental alienation,” a source explained.
The source went on to say, “There have been years and years of her telling and retelling the same poisonous things about him and the reality is that she has alienated the kids, and the reality is that it is upsetting to Brad. He cares about all of them. It is devastating.”
Despite the barbs being thrown at him via Pax’s three-year-old Instagram post, Pitt is reportedly taking the high road when it comes to the situation. He has simply chosen not to respond to the Instagram post claims and is not throwing any verbal jabs at Jolie either. However, those close to the actor claim that Pitt feels the hate post is nothing more than a “depressing smear” campaign against him in the midst of a brutal fight over Chateau Miraval.
“Brad has great respect for all of his children and it’s depressing to see this dragged up,” a source explained. “It’s frustrating to see Brad being painted as some kind of ‘bad person’ when it’s far from the truth.”
The source went on to say,
“He chooses to keep a dignified silence and that speaks volumes.”
While Pitt may be remaining mum on the explosive claims that Pax’s Instagram post detailed, if Jolie is indeed behind the leak, her plan to turn the kids against Pitt may be working. This is because some of the children have chosen to take their mother’s surname and drop Pitt completely.
