American rapper, Cardi B has just gifted her mum with a brand new house, says its what she had wanted to do since her “childhood days“.

The 26-year-old rapper said it was the “happiest day of my life” as she took to her Instagram page a video tour of the property in her home state of New York.

Cardi B, who was brought up in the Bronx, admitted she was “emotional” and had been crying as she walked fans through the mansion, which features its own gym.

She penned down these words:

“Stay down till you come up !Its always been a dream to buy my mother a house.

Last year i was so thirsty to buy my mom a house but the ones i was interested for her weren’t at my price range .

I worked and worked and now I’m here !! 

Thank you everybody who supported me to make my childhood dreams come true! Buy my momma a house !!…..don’t ask me for shit motherfuckers i got big girls bills 😩😩”

The rapper said she started house hunting last year. She could only afford homes in the range of $600,000 at the time and they did not come anywhere close to meeting her expectations.

Cardi predicted this moment in her song “Everything”. In the song’s outro she says, “You know when I was a little girl I used to tell my mom, ‘Hey mom, when I grow up, I’m gonna buy you a house, I’m gonna buy you a car. Until I turned eighteen, it’s like damn, I can’t even get me my own apartment.”
