And the Barbidian superstar didn’t hesitate to brag about her mom in a new Instagram wishing her a happy birthday on Friday.
The 31-year-old talent credited her mother Monica Braithwaite for teaching her ‘love, forgiveness’ and more, all as legal scandal with her dad Ronald Fenty has been simmering.
Wishing Monica a special day, Rihanna wrote: ‘Happy Birthday to my sweet beautiful mother.’
She then went on to say it was her mom who taught her ‘strength, love, forgiveness, sacrifice, hard work, and helping others in whatever way you can.’
With a touching tribute, she said her mom is what true beauty looks like, and finished the caption writing, ‘Love you and I appreciate you!’
‘Thank You God for choosing this wonderful being to be my mom!’
The Barbarian born starlet’s sweet post comes just days after details of her continued feud with her father, Ronald Fenty were revealed.
Fenty is allegedly facing a lawsuit for pretending to represent his singer daughter, three months after the star took legal action over him using the family name to promote his business.
According to TMZ, Harvey Justice – also known as Chef Henny – is threatening to sue Ronald, 65, claiming the singer’s dad told him multiple times he represented Rihanna.
This comes three months after Rihanna sued the Barbadian for using the family name to promote his venture, Fenty Entertainment.

In legal papers first obtained by The Blast in January, the singer, born Robyn Rihanna Fenty, alleged Ronald is seeking to profit from her fame, and that along with a business partner, Moses Perkins, he has been soliciting business by falsely acting as her agent.
Despite having no authority to act on his daughter’s behalf, Ronald is said to have booked her on a $15 million tour in Latin America and two concerts, at the Staples Center in Los Angeles and the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas for $400,000.
Rihanna asked for damages from her father, and an injunction on his business, set up in 2017.
Rihanna has a company of her own named Fenty Beauty, which produces make-up and facial products.
She’s also coming out with the new Spring line of her Savage x Fenty lingerie line soon, which the bombshell modeled earlier on Friday.
While Rihanna is taking legal action against her father, the two remain in contact.
Although he and her mother Monica divorced when Rihanna was 14 he has remained close to his daughter and her brothers Rorrey and Rajad.
Rihanna has three half sisters – Samantha, Kandy and Jamie too.
