Rep. Ritchie Torres has recently expressed strong criticism of both the Adams and Hochul administrations, 

accusing them of failing to take the necessary actions to prevent a serial stabber from going unnoticed and continuing his deadly spree. 

The case has become a significant point of contention, particularly in light of the tragic loss of three lives at the hands of the suspect, 

a series of killings that could have potentially been prevented if more stringent measures had been put in place. 

Torres, a prominent New York Democrat who represents the Bronx, voiced his concerns with intense frustration, 

stating that the lack of proper oversight and action has allowed a dangerous individual to evade justice for far too long, resulting in devastating consequences.
